Teams and Leagues :

Same as every year, we started to change the teams in the game, first step was to remove the duplicated Chinese teams from the game, then start adding teams and national teams, we will keep adding more in every update until all teams slot are used, this year we have a lot of available slots so many teams will be added, when we reach near the number limit with teams still needs to be added then we will make polls to let the users help us decide on that.
There are still fake teams in the game, cannot be removed until we add more teams so the game will not be short of teams and causes bugs, will be removed when sufficient teams are added.

Players :

Smokepatch20 have licenced and corrected all players names, many youth players added to the database and assigned to their respective teams, stats are according to the newest konami database, all the players added to the database uses original correct ID unless never existed in previous games.
There are still many fake players in the fake clubs, will be removed when we remove the fake teams and add real ones.

Faces and Mini-faces :

The facepack is bundled in the patch, total size of 4.7 gb worth of faces, more than 1000 real faces added to the game for more enjoyable gaming.
Our minifaces we use in smokepatch versions is huge (game-plan picture), the pack covers around 12.000 real player minifaces all with high quality.

Kits :

All the teams in smokepatch have real kits, most of the kits are also updated to their latest designs, all the kits are in high quality created specially for SP20
As usual, we constantly review and update the kits in every update for the patch.

Stadiums :

This year we only use the game stadiums in the patch, we might be opting for more stadiums via server like we did in sp19, stadium ad-boards are not included in the patch, but are available as optional addon.

Boots, Gloves and Balls :

SP20 comes with the maximum of 100 real boots, 30 real gloves, and new balls for the new season of most of the leagues and competitions, we have kept a couple of nice balls made by konami this year, balls are assigned to their respective teams in the edit file accompanied with smokepatch.

Installation :

1. Extract patch files [Get all parts and be sure all are completed, extract only part one the rest will be extracted automatically, don't move any of the installation files or folders and be sure you do not get any errors].

2. Run (smokepatch20.2.7.exe) [Run the installer and choose game installation folder, the patch must be installed in the same game folder, be sure you don't get errors and that the installer finished successfully].

3. Install patch update [Get the latest patch update (if available), only install the latest update because it will include any needed previous updates for the patch].

4. Copy the Edit file [Manually copy the edit file (edit00000000) that comes with the latest update, replace the file in the save folder of the game in documents].

NOTES:

Better if you remove all the files in the download folder of the game before installing smokepatch (to save disk space and avoid conflicts)
If you edit or generate the patch dpfilelist be sure to.
Changing the patch files or adding other mods is at your own risk.
Adding or updating the game exe is not the patch responsibility.
This patch is made to focus on offline modes.

How to install?

1. Install the newest Version of Sider 6

2. Important to already have DLC 5 installed via Steam and started the game once before installing this Version

3. If you installed older version, delete the entire EvoWeb Patch folder from your livecpk folder first (very important to delete it because of removement of some files)

4. Now add the livepk Folder from the Download to your Sider folder

5. Open sider.ini and add the following cpk roots:

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs):

Q: Will there be a CPK Version of it?
A: No, Sider is way more powerful, is online compatible and you won't experience DpFileList Mismatches. Also way easier to release Updates.

Q: Do I need to Download all Folders separately or the All In One is enough?
A: All in One is enough. We just add those separate in case we release a quick fix, so that you only need to download that folder. The "Last updated marker" shows you when the file was updated.

Q: Why there is no full licensed LaLiga Smartbank etc.?
A: Doing such detailed work takes time, especially with the new font formats. Other stuff will be updated/released when ready, don't ask for when, we can't or won't give you a date.

Q: I can only see 5 kits (4 outfield & 1 goalkeeper kit) in Editmode but that team needs his 5th, 6th kit, can you make it?
A: Be aware that Editmode always shows just 5 kits. At the kit selection screen when you play a match more can be displayed for selection.

Q: Coaches don't have real names in MyClub mode and some blank managers appear?
A: We haven't found a clean solution for it and it's not our focus right now.

Q: Can I use LiveUpdate with it?
A: If you play a Kickoff match with LiveUpdate on, created teams are back to default. We highly suggest to always disable it but since version 2.0 it's actually possible to play with LiveUpdate on.

Q: Are new Faces part of the Patch?
A: A few have been added and certainly some more in the future but won't be overloaded. We want to keep that simple. You can add your favourite faces yourself to the Faces folder.

Q: Will we get Bootpacks, Ballpacks, Scoreboard Packs, etc.?
A: That stuff is actually no part of this Patch. With all those Modules for Sider there will be and is already stuff like that out which is compatible with the Patch.

Q: When the next Update will be out?
A: That question will be ignored forever, don't waste your time writing it.

DISCLAIMER: We didn't replace any already licensed leagues. The leagues that come with the game such as Liga NOS, Belgium, both French and Italian divisions and etc, will stay in the patch. We didn't replace those.

This patch was made to have everything installed at once, what does that mean? That you’ll have ball-server, menu-server, scoreboard-server, stadium-server and more. We decided to go with this method mostly for our community outside Evo-Web that’s not very familiar with mods, so they have the entire experience in one installation, only needing to update some files when we release them. Needless to say, we don’t take credit on stuff like scoreboards, menus, stadiums (with some exceptions, obviously), since the majority was made by the community.

How to Install :

IMPORTANT: If you downloaded it via Torrent, the only difference will be that the .rar parts will be inside a folder with the name of the torrent

We recommend doing the installation on a clean version of PES2020 with all DLCs installed. It's also very important to have these three folders clean, without an EDIT file installed:

1. Open Pes Dream Patch V1.exe and set the path of extraction to the game directory.

2. To open the game, go to the game directory and open the folder Dream Patch Sider. Open sider.exe and the game will open with the patch.

We recommend creating a direct access for Sider.exe in any place where you place your games :)
